Khmelnytskyi is the leader in corn yield — 10 t/ha

Harvesting was carried out on an area of 7.73 million hectares with a yield of 4.6 t/ha, of which:
wheat — 22.189 million tons from an area of 4.69 million hectares (101% of the forecast), average yield — 4.73 tons/ha;
barley — 5.86 million tons from an area of 1.5 million hectares (101%), yield — 3.9 tons/ha;
peas — 396.8 thousand tons from an area of 154.4 thousand ha (103%), yield — 2.57 tons/ha;
buckwheat — 188.8 thousand tons from an area of 127.7 thousand hectares (90%), yield — 1.48 tons/ha;
millet — 162.4 thousand tons from an area of 68.7 thousand hectares (86%), yield — 2.26 tons/ha;
corn — 5.84 million tons from an area of 884 thousand ha (22%), yield — 6.61 tons/ha.
Corn is collected by farmers of all regions except Lviv Oblast. The largest amount of grain was threshed in Poltava Oblast — 707,000 tons.
Among the leaders in terms of corn yield:
Khmelnytskyi — 10 t/ha;
Sumyshchyna — 9.3 t/ha;
Volyn — 9 t/ha;
Kyiv region — 8.2 t/ha;
Poltava region — 8.1 t/ha.
At the same time, a very low yield of corn (less than 3 t/ha) is currently recorded in Zaporizhzhia, Kherson Oblast, and Odesa Oblast.
Farmers collected 16.82 million tons of oil crops, of which:
rapeseed — 4 million tons from an area of 1.39 million hectares (98%), average yield — 2.87 tons/ha;
sunflower — 9 million tons from an area of 3.89 million hectares (77%) with a yield of 2.32 tons/ha;
soybeans — 3.77 million tons from 1.46 million hectares (81%), yield — 2.58 tons/ha.
Sugar beet harvesting continues, they have been dug up on an area of 96.4 thousand hectares, 4.6 million tons of sweet roots have been dug up with a yield of 47.7 tons/ha.
