Fuel pellet from corn waste

Pellets from corn waste give a little less heat than wood pellets, but are much cheaper and safer for the environment, and can have different applications: animal feed, fuel, food product.

Given the significant increase in the price of wood pellets, the use of pellets made from corn waste allows you to significantly reduce heating costs. In terms of calorific value, corn pellets are almost as good as wood pellets, but this is compensated by their much lower cost. One of the disadvantages can be considered a higher ash content (approximately 6-7.5%) compared to wood pellets. Tests on the burning of agricultural pellets have proven that it is not prone to sintering, so combustion takes place in full.

Given that the main users of this type of fuel are private households, the company produces pellets with a diameter of 6 mm, which allows it to be used in most solid fuel boilers operating on pellets. Granules from corn waste are a by-product of the production of maltose molasses; they consist of corn grain processing products.

When burning 1 ton of our pellets, you save on:

- 1.2 tons of wood;

- 450 cubic meters m of gas;

- 420 liters of diesel fuel;

- 400 liters of fuel oil.

Advantages of using corn pellets:

• 100% natural - granules are made from corn of various plants without additives;

• environmentally friendly – corn pellets are CO2-neutral. 15 times less CO2 is emitted into the atmosphere than when burning natural gas;

• economically competitive with other types of fuel;

• high heat output compared to gas, oil and firewood.
