Ukrainian carriers are organizing a protest at the Yahodyn checkpoint against the background of the Polish blockade

Ukrainian carriers are organizing a protest action on February 15 at the Yahodyn checkpoint on the border with Poland against the background of protests by Polish farmers. Hromadske was informed about this by the DPSU and the public organization "Carriers of the Western Region", writes agronews.ua.

First, the participants of the action will gather in Lutsk, and then they will go to Yagodin.

"We want to be in solidarity with the guys who are on the other side. To show that we know about them, have not forgotten, and support their fighting spirit," said the head of the NGO Vitaliy Kotsenko.

He noted that the participants of the action do not plan to block Polish carriers who "work honestly in the transportation market." Instead, they want to prevent and record the facts of bypassing the blockade on the Polish side. Kotsenko noted that this is unfair.

"They bypass this entire blockade, drive directly to the customs terminal, get registered and bring goods to Ukraine. […] The police completely help them (the Poles — ed.), take them and lead them past all the queues. They drive right at the barrier. There are still detours, where most of the queues leave directly under the border, under the barrier and enter the territory of Ukraine. The day before yesterday, my clients called me and informed me that the Polish carriers said: "We will bring you any cargo to Ukraine." There is no blockade for Polish carriers," said Kotsenko.
