The export of Ukrainian grain in the 2023/24 season exceeded 20 million tons

According to the operational data of the State Customs Service, as of January 12, since the beginning of the 2023/24 MR, Ukraine exported 20.239 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, of which 1.773 million tons were shipped in the current month, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported.

At the same time, as of January 13 last year, the total figure of shipments was 24.208 million tons, including in January – 1.462 million tons.

In terms of crops, since the beginning of the current season, the following were exported:

- wheat - 8.069 million tons (in 2022/23 MR - 8.802 million tons);

- barley - 1.173 million tons (1.693 million tons);

- rye - 1 thousand tons (12.5 thousand tons);

- corn - 10.85 million tons (13.626 million tons).

The total export of Ukrainian flour as of January 12 is also lower than last year and is estimated at 61 thousand tons (in 2022/23 MR – 72.9 thousand tons), including of wheat - 58 thousand tons (69.3 thousand tons).

At the same time, as of January 13 last year, the total figure of shipments was 24.208 million tons, including in January – 1.462 million tons.

In terms of crops, since the beginning of the current season, the following were exported:

- wheat - 8.069 million tons (in 2022/23 MR - 8.802 million tons);

- barley - 1.173 million tons (1.693 million tons);

- rye - 1 thousand tons (12.5 thousand tons);

- corn - 10.85 million tons (13.626 million tons).
