FAO will provide soybean and sunflower seeds to Ukrainian farmers

FAO will provide soybean and sunflower seeds to Ukrainian farmers for the spring sowing campaign. To receive assistance, you need to submit an application through the State Agrarian Register. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

The application can be submitted until March 24, 2024.

Small and medium-sized farms and agricultural producers from the front-line regions whose land holdings range from 10 to 500 hectares can take part in the program.

The amount of aid provided will depend on the area of cultivated land. In total, more than 3,000 farmers from Chernihiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Zaporizhia regions will be able to receive assistance.

After processing and analysis of all received applications, selected program participants will receive confirmation through DAR and will be notified of the time and place of receipt of assistance. Farms will need to collect the provided seeds from the warehouse.
