Ukraine will have a direct rail freight connection with the port of Reni through the territory of Moldova. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal wrote about this in his Telegram channel, reports agronews.ua.
"We are improving logistics. Amendments were made to the intergovernmental agreement between Ukraine and Moldova. Now our state will have a direct railway freight connection with the port of Reni through the territory of Moldova. In this way, we will make maximum use of the potential of the Danube ports," said Shmyhal.
It should be noted that on March 25, the Berezina-Basarabyaska border crossing should start operating, which can reduce the cost of transportation of domestic exports by at least $20/t.
